It’s up to all of us.
There are many ways to get involved with UpLift. From volunteers to partners and donors, we all have a role to play in creating healthier environments where our children can learn and prosper.
Volunteer opportunities are as diverse as the volunteers themselves. As UpLift rolls out in schools across the province, we need youth, parents, teachers and community members to be a part of it. Let us know how you would like to be involved. Please contact us by filling in the form.
UpLift is built on partnerships at the local, provincial and federal levels, and these will continue to grow to support Nova Scotians now and into the future. Partners include the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA), the provincial Departments of Health (DHW) and Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD), Regional Centres of Education (RCE), the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP) and a variety of community organisations and groups. As UpLift moves forward we will be showcasing all our partners on a separate page of the website. We are proud of the many partners who are a vital part of UpLift and invite others to join us in helping to raise a healthier generation. Contact us to learn more about how you can become a partner.
A powerful consortium between the Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation (DMRF), the QEII Foundation and the Dalhousie University Office of Advancement is working to leverage funding to support UpLift. We are actively working with the Government of Canada toward a funding commitment over the next five years. Being an UpLift donor means contributing to healthier schools and communities. You can get involved through funding or other ways that allow for engagement. UpLift is a unique opportunity to bring corporate values to life. We work closely with our donors to identify opportunities that align with corporate objectives. Donations to UpLift are managed through the Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation (registered charity number 11922 9318 RR0001) on behalf of the UpLift funding consortium. Contact us to get involved.
